Michael Cole just announced a big change to WWE RAW. He confirmed it after there had been reports on it earlier.

A few weeks back, it was said that RAW would be airing on Syfy instead of on USA Network. The deal with USA Network extends to the end of the year, having changed the deal to make it so after they struck a new contract with Netflix. Starting in 2025, RAW will be airing on Netflix, which, fans have speculated, is sure to have influenced on the type of product the company will put out.

Without having to worry about content as much, WWE will be free to do things they could not do on a Network.

However, heading into next week, RAW won't be airing on USA Network, or for the week after that either. Thanks to the Paris Olympics, WWE RAW will be airing on Syfy instead for two weeks in a row. The July 29 and August 5 episodes will be on Syfy, while NXT was reported to have the same issue as well. It remains to be seen whether there will be any further change of programming going forward, or if this will be a two-week issue.

Michael Cole confirmed the announcement on RAW as well.
