WWE Superstar Damian Priest recently criticized the new Judgment Day. The Punisher was kicked out of the heel faction at SummerSlam 2024.

The Judgment Day was founded in 2022 by Edge (now Adam Copeland), who introduced Priest and Rhea Ripley as the original members. However, after welcoming Finn Balor into the group, The Archer of Infamy and The Nightmare betrayed their original leader.

Over the past two years, the stable has added members such as Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Carlito, and has also held several championships. However, a dramatic shift occurred at this year's Biggest Party of The Summer when the group's dynamics turned sinister.

Dirty Dom betrayed Ripley, and The Prince backstabbed Priest, costing them their world titles. The new Judgment Day group currently consists of Liv Morgan, McDonagh, Carlito, Dom Mysterio, and Raquel Rodriguez.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

During an appearance on the Casual Conversations with The Classic podcast, Damian Priest went off on the new Judgment Day, dismissing them as a group of individuals trying to emulate the original. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion believes that without Rhea Ripley and himself, the heel faction lacks authenticity and that their internal struggles will ultimately lead to their downfall.

"I don't call them anything, they're individuals, that's not a group. They're a group of individuals that are trying to hang out together and be something they are not. They're not us. Rhea [Ripley] and I were The Judgment Day, we were The Judgment Day, without us there's none. So they could call themselves whatever they want, they could switch up the look, it's silly to me that they still want to be called that and you're not. And the idea of them pushing each other to be the top personality in the company, it's not going to happen. I think they're just to push each other into the ground and Rhea and I are just going to walk over them when that happens," said Priest. [From 10:23 to 11:04]

Damian Priest won a big match on WWE RAW

The Punisher was in action during this week's edition of Monday Night RAW on November 4, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Priest competed in the Number One Contendership Fatal Four-Way Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title.

The 42-year-old star faced Seth Rollins, Dominik Mysterio, and Sheamus for a shot at Gunther's title. However, the contest was disrupted by Bronson Reed, who attacked The Visionary, Damian Priest, and The Celtic Warrior.

Dirty Dom tried to take advantage of the situation. However, The Archer of Infamy emerged victorious. He will face Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship "somewhere down the road" as announced by Michael Cole on commentary.

It remains to be seen when The Ring General and The Punisher will face off for the world title.
