WWE continues to hype Uncle Howdy's potential return with multiple QR codes during shows. The Stamford-based company dropped another tease during the most recent edition of Friday night SmackDown.
Bo Dallas is rumored to return to WWE television as Uncle Howdy for the first time after Bray Wyatt's untimely passing last year. The former RAW Tag Team champion is reportedly set to lead a faction consisting of several absent stars, including Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Nikki Cross.
During the June 14 edition of SmackDown, a QR code showed up, which led to a countdown that ends at the upcoming episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, suggesting the much-anticipated return to take place next week.
The wrestling promotion also dropped another tease during the commercial break. Ringside News recently shared a video and claimed that it was from the show. The video had flickering lights and distorted sounds, two things often associated with Uncle Howdy.

WWE Hall of Famer makes bold claim ahead of Uncle Howdy's potential return
Using regular updates to the archived web page dedicated to Uncle Howdy, WWE has hinted at the return of several other stars alongside Bo Dallas. All the performers are expected to form a faction following the much-awaited return.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long stated that the rumored faction members would be under a lot of pressure. However, the former SmackDown General Manager claimed that the fans would get behind the group, thanks to their love for Bray Wyatt.
"Yeah, it's a lot of pressure, but also, you know, it can be done. And I think that the fans will definitely get behind him because the people love Bray. They really loved him. And just, you know, right before his death, he was getting up, he got on a roll. He was starting back up there. So I think with these guys coming in and trying to continue, you know, what he had started. I think it's gonna be good, and the fans are gonna be right behind him because they loved Bray," he said.
