WWE has managed to build a robust roster over the years, arguably making a better lineup than AEW. However, Hall of Famer Teddy Long thinks that an AEW star would still have a place in the Stamford-based promotion.

The star being talked about, Britt Baker, is one of the most talented stars of the AEW roster. Having been in the company since its very start, she has contributed a lot to its growth. Although it seems she is in the Jacksonville-based promotion for the long haul at this point, Teddy Long believes she would be a prime pick for the rival company too.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Teddy Long talked about how Britt Baker was a talented enough star to make it to the extremely curated WWE roster.

"Yes, I would. I have had the opportunity to see her, and she is a beautiful woman and she does a fantastic job in the ring. Yes, I think she would be a great asset for WWE." [2:00 onwards]

Another veteran commented on Britt Baker's choice to put AEW before dentistry

According to veteran journalist Bill Apter, Britt's decision to give more priority to her wrestling career at this point in time was the right choice.

Speaking on the same episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter shared his thoughts on the news and stated:

"She's a great performer. And this will give her more opportunity to work and she can always go back to dentistry. You know, she has got her license and everything like that. Yeah, I don't see any reason why. She hasn't been wrestling full time for years because her dental career has held her back. So, I would like to see her in AEW full time. I think she is a great benefit to the ladies division in that company and I wanna see her more often." [0:50 onwards]

It remains to be seen when Britt Baker will return to the active scene.
