The Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame features 14 stars, but none have drawing power like Donald Trump. Many former WWE Superstars have transitioned into Hollywood, but no one has had success like The Rock. The two heavyweights of their respective industries are now connected as Trump just revealed why The Rock reached out after an assassination attempt.

The 45th President of the United States is campaigning to become the 47th President. Trump was shot in the ear while on stage at a campaign rally back in June. As he did in WWE's Battle of the Billionaires against Vince McMahon, Trump survived that day. The attempted assassination is regarded as the most significant Secret Service security failure in more than 43 years.

Trump made headlines this week as he was interviewed by another WWE Hall of Famer: The Undertaker. At one point, Trump asked who has the largest social media presence in pro wrestling, and The Rock was quickly named by Taker and his co-host. Trump recalled always thinking The Rock didn't like him, which made him feel bad.

The 78-year-old then claimed that The Great One contacted Dana White to get Trump's phone number after the assassination attempt and explained how The Rock allegedly praised him:

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"You know, The Rock was great. I never thought he liked me, and I felt badly because I think he's a terrific guy. Then Dana White said, when I was shot... I took a shot to the ear, you may have heard about it? ... Rock called, Dana said [Rock told him], 'I want to have his number, what he did is sort of incredible!' He [Rock] considered it bravery... I don't know, to me I considered it like, 'What's going on here?' But it was very nice actually, The Rock. So, you [Undertaker] might mention that I said that... do you speak to him occasionally?" The Deadman then recalled seeing The Final Boss in Philadelphia during WrestleMania XL Weekend, adding that Rock is a workaholic and no dust settles on him because he has his hands in lots of different projects. Rock's phone call to Trump is interesting as he also issued a public social media statement after the shooting.

WWE Hall of Famers endorse Donald Trump

Voters in the United States will elect the 47th President in two weeks. Donald Trump, a member of the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame Class, is running against Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump previously received a viral wrestling-style endorsement from Hulk Hogan.

The Brothers of Destruction have now endorsed Trump for the election, as seen below. The Undertaker and Kane called on voters to support Trump at the polls, declaring that America's future depends on it.

Kane is currently in his second term as the Republican Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. Taker has been open about his conservatism and support for the Republican party since retiring.
