Kane (Glenn Jacobs) is among the several athletes who have reacted to the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Knox County's current mayor even mentioned Brock Lesnar when he discussed the former United States President.

Trump took a bullet to his right ear on Saturday at a rally near Butler, Pennsylvania. The FBI called it an assassination attempt, and the agency is still gathering information on why the suspect, Thomas Matthew Crooks, wanted the 78-year-old dead.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Kane reacted to the attempt on his fellow WWE Hall of Famer's life. He called the presidential candidate the "baddest" dude he had ever met, comparing him to Lesnar.

"I used to think Brock Lesnar was the baddest dude that I'd ever met. After yesterday, I'm pretty sure it's Donald Trump," Glenn Jacobs wrote.

Many hailed Brock Lesnar as the "baddest man on the planet" when he won the UFC Heavyweight Championship by defeating Randy Couture. As for Donald Trump, he was taken to a hospital in Pittsburgh following the assault. He later released a statement thanking the Secret Service for protecting him.

While Trump survived the assassination attempt, a bystander named Corey Comperatore was killed, and two others were critically injured.

Donald Trump endorsed Kane during his rally in Iowa in January

During his rally in January in Iowa, Donald Trump endorsed Glenn Jacobs, who is in his final term as Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. Trump put over the WWE legend in front of thousands of his supporters, which would likely help the latter if he wants to aim for a higher position.

"And another man who's a friend of mine. He's another one I'm not going to mess around with. He's [from] Knox County, Tennessee, do you know Glenn Jacobs? Goes by the name, goes by the name of (...) Kane. Where is Kane? Where's the (…) Look at the size of this guy. Man o' man (...) He's all man. He's good. How many years have you been doing that? You've been (…) Kane one of the great characters in uhm (…) how many (…) so how tall are you? You're six what? 6'8" and weigh what? When you wrestle? Well, that's not bad – I'm not that far away either. That's not good. You just ruined my day – 300 [pounds]!" Trump said. [H/T: Inside the Ropes]

Trump was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 as part of its celebrity wing. He has made several appearances on WWE television, playing a pivotal role in the Battle of the Billionaires storyline at WrestleMania 23 against Vince McMahon.
