WWE's NXT 2300 Special went head-to-head with AEW Dynamite this week. The show aired on a special night due to Election Night coverage on Tuesday and drew 619,000 viewers and a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 key demographic, up from last week. Dynamite drew 523,000 viewers and a 0.16 key demo rating, down from the previous week. In the key demo, NXT out-drew in male viewers, 73,000 to 60,000, while both shows tied at 155,000 for female viewers. Despite NXT airing on a different night, WWE's third brand topped Dynamite for the third time.
The second hour of NXT 2300 opened up with Bubba Ray Dudley and Trick Williams teaming up for a loss to Ethan Page and Ridge Holland. D-Von Dudley was also involved, and a post-match segment took them closer to 9:30 PM. Borrowing a nickname from longtime rival Chris Jericho, Bubba Ray took to X/Twitter to take credit for the ratings win, declaring Trick and The Dudleys to be Demo Gods.
"Demo Gods. 🤓," Bubba Ray Dudley wrote.
