WWE Money in the Bank is hours away from starting one of the most anticipated annual pro wrestling matches. Six superstars will compete on ladders to earn one golden briefcase, almost guaranteed to make them a champion. Interestingly, the high-voltage premium live event just got a major addition in the form of a Hall of Famer.
Trish Stratus is one of the biggest and most revered female superstars the Stamford-based promotion has produced. The WWE Hall of Famer was last seen in a glaring feud against Becky Lynch.
Now, she has uploaded a story from outside the Scotiabank Arena in Canada, noting that she will be part of the MITB kickoff show. Her post also carried a link to her website that said her appearance would be part of her Bad Girl Tour.
"As we continue to add more dates to the Bad Girl Tour, many of you have asked when Trish Stratus would come home for an appearance. Well Toronto, we have news for you! Trish will be doing an in-venue hospitality appearance before WWE Money in the Bank this Saturday at Scotiabank Arena," the post on her website read.

Stratus will appear alongside World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest and perform a particular segment for fans with Gold, Champion, and Elite package tickets.
Interestingly, while the Hall of Famer has only announced a pre-show appearance, she could also make a move and change the outcome of a major match.
Trish Stratus to deny a wrestler a WWE championship opportunity?
The July 1, 2024, episode of Monday Night RAW saw Zoey Stark beat Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile to qualify for the Women's MITB ladder match. Stark was the final entrant and earned her spot for the second year in a row. However, Trish Stratus may interfere to prevent her from winning the golden briefcase.
Stratus had Zoey Stark by her side during her steel cage match against Becky Lynch at Payback on September 2, 2023. The Hall of Famer ended up losing her match and attacked Stark, blaming her for the loss. In retaliation, Stark ended their partnership with a Z-360.
Now, Stratus can get revenge on her home turf in Toronto. It would be interesting to see if the WWE Hall of Famer makes her move and gets back at Stark.
