The Undisputed WWE Championship reign of Cody Rhodes just hit the 170-day mark. Despite some speculation on the star's popularity taking a hit, recent reports from within WWE show that the second-generation superstar is still at the top of the company. Now, Hall of Famer DDP has reacted to the news.
The American Nightmare has been a top mover of WWE merchandise since he returned, if not the top seller. It was reported that Rhodes had made Fanatics' list of the top five overall sellers for any athlete or personality. This comes after Cody was the only superstar to make Fanatics' internal top ten overall sellers list in May. The sales include all sports and all other items sold by the global sports platform, which covers a broad spectrum. Rhodes is a special case for Fanatics, as no other wrestlers are currently on their internal top-five list.
Diamond Dallas Page and The Grandson of a Plumber have been close friends for years. DDP was also close to Cody's father, Dusty Rhodes. The 2017 WWE Hall of Famer took to Instagram this week to publicly address the report on Cody hitting the Fanatics internal milestone.
"So proud of @americannightmarecody! He proves that people are drawn towards work ethic and authenticity! Keep up the great work, bro! DDP," Diamond Dallas Page wrote.

Dallas appeared for AEW at times due to Cody. He was at the inaugural Double or Nothing to escort Brandi Rhodes from ringside, and then later that year, DDP helped Cody fight Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle.
The following month, The Master of the Diamond Cutter presented MJF with the first Dynamite Diamond Ring. Page's final match came in January 2020, as he teamed with Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall for a Dynamite loss to MJF, The Butcher, and The Blade.
