A WWE Hall of Famer recalled an embarrassing incident that took place at an airport. This incident happened due to his gimmick at that time.
Koko B. Ware was regarded as one of the most beloved WWE Superstars. He was known for his trademark pet parrot, Frankie, which he often carried with him. Fans were very fond of B. Ware because of his parrot. He also proved to be a solid worker in the ring. Despite not winning any titles in WWE, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009 for his contribution to the industry.
Recently, the WWE Hall of Famer appeared on Stories with Briscoe and Bradshaw, where he narrated how he got the idea for his gimmick and how he pitched it to Vince McMahon.
"I finally found [a parrot] in a pet store and took a picture of it."

Ware continued to say that Vince McMahon was impressed with the idea when he pitched it during their first meeting.
"He said 'Wow, you know Koko if you come up here and work for us, you're gonna have to go all over the world with this parrot.'" [H/T Wrestling Inc.]
He then narrated how he was traveling back to the United States from the Bahamas after doing a show when he was stopped at customs which wanted to quarantine his bird, thinking he had bought it in the country. Thankfully, he got Frankie back home safely with the help of the Bahamian Prime Minister.
How did Vince McMahon react to the infamous hotel lobby fight involving WWE Hall of Famer Koko B. Ware?
One infamous story from Koko B. Ware's time in the Stamford-based promotion was his hotel lobby brawl with WWE official Jim Troy.
During an outing, Jim was mouthing off at Koko and a bunch of wrestlers for putting on fake matches. This led to a verbal spat between both men that didn't turn physical until they reached their hotel. Ware and Troy both brawled throughout the lobby.
During his Something to Wrestle podcast, Bruce Prichard noted how Vince McMahon sent both of them home after finding out about the brawl.
"He sent them both home on the spot, as soon as he found out about it, and got them on separate flights just to get them both out now, send them both home, I’ll talk to them when they get here. He told Koko, I was actually in the room when he told Koko, they had Koko at the building, and said get him on the phone, and had someone get a hold of Troy and tell him to get his sh** and go home, come home, come see me when he gets here. That was it, and he dealt with it. Told them, said ‘I can’t tolerate that.’"
It's good to see that the matter was resolved without either man suffering any serious injuries.
