Before Jimmy Uso's return to WWE, his father, Rikishi has asked for prayers for his son on social media, sparking rumors about the former Tag Team Champion's health. The Hall of Famer recently clarified why he posted that message.

On the first episode of SmackDown after WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga took out Jimmy Uso. After nearly six months of absence, the former Tag Team Champion returned at Bad Blood to help Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeat The Bloodline's Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Ahead of his comeback, fans felt concerned about Jimmy's health after his father tweeted asking fans to keep his son in their prayers.

On a recent episode of his Off The Top podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer clarified his post. He claimed people misunderstood his message.

"God forbid I even say anything on social media. You know, everybody thought that Jimmy was in the hospital, he was... All I said was just send a prayer to my son. That's it as any father would give any son. You know, just pray for my son that's it. I didn't say nothing he was in the hospital, I didn't say... I just pray for his health. That's what I was saying. Oh, hell! I got so much slack for just a father trying to send some prayers for his boy," he said. [7:35 - 8:02]

Jimmy Uso acknowledged Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief on WWE SmackDown

Last night on SmackDown, Jimmy Uso acknowledged Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief amid the power struggle between the latter and Solo Sikoa over the leadership of The Bloodline. However, he tried to convince The Original Tribal Chief to agree to get help, teasing reuniting with his twin brother Jey Uso. However, Reigns refused despite the seemingly overwhelming numbers.

In the main event of WWE RAW, Jimmy went head-to-head against Sikoa. After losing the match following interference from The Bloodline, Big Jim was attacked by the group. Although Reigns rushed to the ring to save his cousin, they were outnumbered and took him out too. As the show went off the air, Jimmy was seen pleading with The Original Tribal Chief to recruit help.

Jey recently teased reconciling with his family after their fallout last year. It would be interesting to see if he will indeed reunite with his twin brother and cousin to fight Sikoa's Bloodline at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.
