WWE Superstar Jey Uso is one of the biggest babyfaces in the Stamford-based company at the moment. The Yeet Master is getting top reactions from the fans and a big push from the creative.
Jey's father, Rikishi, who is a WWE Hall of Famer, has been vocal about how the company has booked his son over the last year. He criticized the creative team for not having concrete plans for The Yeet Master last year. However, The Samoan Stinker was also elated when Uso won the Intercontinental Championship and claimed that WWE had finally rewarded his son for all the hard work he had put in over a decade.
On a recent episode of the Keepin' It 100 OFFICIAL podcast, wrestling veteran Disco Inferno mentioned that WWE was professional enough not to let Rikishi's comments affect his son's booking. He felt that the creative team would probably chuckle at the 59-year-old legend's comments, but that would not cause any backstage heat for Jey Uso:
"No, you're not gonna let that affect the booking. That's absurd. As a matter of fact, stuff like that is laughed at." [0:41 - 0:47]

Jimmy Uso invited Jey Uso to show up on WWE SmackDown this week
During the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso met in the ring and tried to settle all their issues.
The Yeet Master claimed that Jimmy would always be his blood and all his accomplishments in his singles career pale when compared to the success they had as The Usos. Jimmy also reciprocated his twin brother's feelings. He then asked Jey to come to SmackDown to settle his issues with Roman Reigns.
The Usos also repelled an attack from The Bloodline. Later, WWE announced that Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso would face the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline in a Six-Man Tag Team Match at the Crown Jewel 2024 Premium Live Event this weekend in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
