WWE Hall of Famer teases huge return after over a year for major moment

A WWE Hall of Famer teased that she could be making a huge return to the ring. Her last match took place in September 2023.

Trish Stratus is widely regarded as one of the greatest women's wrestlers of all time. Her legendary career inspired the next generation of stars. During her time in WWE, she won numerous accolades and is a multi-time Women's Champion. Stratus first retired from the ring in 2006. However, she continued to make sporadic appearances over the years and even wrestled in the ring.

Last year, Trish Stratus was even involved in a heated feud with Becky Lynch, which culminated in a Steel Cage match at the Payback Premium Live Event. After losing this match, she got into a physical altercation with Zoey Stark and was laid out. Since then, she has not stepped back into the ring.

During a recent interview with TV Insider, the Hall of Famer was asked about returning to the ring. Stratus didn't give a definite answer but teased that it's a possibility since it is her 25th anniversary in the business.

"Possibly. I imagine at some point. I don’t know what I’ll be doing in a wrestling ring, but I can’t imagine I won’t be in a wrestling ring. It is my 25th anniversary after all. So, yeah." [H/T TV Insider]

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus joked that she will retire after getting "rag-dolled" by Nia Jax

Ever since making her return to World Wrestling Entertainment in 2023, Nia Jax has been a dominant force in the ring. She resiliently pursued the Women's World Championship and WWE Women's Championship and finally won the latter belt from Bayley. She is now one of the top stars on SmackDown and has the women's division in a chokehold. Therefore, Nia Jax has garnered praise from Trish Stratus for her booking.

During the same interview, Stratus praised the WWE Women's Champion. She also joked that she can't fully retire until she gets rag-dolled by Nia Jax.

"Nia Jax, I’m so happy she came back. She has a great presence. She has been owning it. I really enjoy watching her. I have this weird thing where I don’t think I could fully retire until I’m rag-dolled by her. Is that weird? Imagine that? Then I can retire [laughs]." [H/T TV Insider]
