WWE has released the footage of Cody Rhodes being taken in an ambulance following the shocking closing moments at Saturday Night's Main Event 2024. Alongside the footage, WWE also sent a message for The American Nightmare.

Moments after Cody retained his Undisputed Universal Title, KO began assaulting him. Owens had been vocal about his disdain for WWE management in recent weeks on SmackDown, and at Saturday Night's Main Event, he finally erupted.

Unable to digest the fact that he had lost, Kevin Owens took out Cody Rhodes with a Package Piledriver, leading to Nick Aldis and security coming out to control him. He then walked out with Cody's Winged Eagle version of the Undisputed WWE Title and was met by Triple H near the entrance area, where the two got into a scuffle.

WWE has now released backstage footage of The American Nightmare being stretchered out on their official Instagram handle. The Stamford-based promotion also added a caption, wishing Cody Rhodes a speedy recovery.

Check it out below:

"This is not how tonight should have ended. Wishing@americannightmarecody a speedy recovery. 🙏😮‍💨#SNME."

Kevin Owens will surely face serious repercussions for his actions at Saturday Night's Main Event 2024, where he seemingly crossed all limits.
