The WWE Universe witnessed a disconcerting moment on SmackDown as Austin Theory and Carmelo Hayes' match had to be stopped after a spot went wrong. Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell spoke about the incident and prayed that both men weren't injured.
Hayes and Theory battled it out in a singles match this week, and during the closing stages of their contest, they went up to the top turnbuckle for a Spanish Fly.
The superstars unfortunately endured a horrible landing as the referee quickly stepped in and called for the bell, ending the match in a no-contest.
Dutch Mantell and fellow Smack Talk panelists agreed that Austin Theory seemingly suffered the worst of the bump. Mantell said that the spot looked off from the get-go and, most importantly, hoped Austin Theory and Carmelo Hayes weren't seriously hurt from the impact.

The legendary manager also brought up the old saying about refraining from performing wrestling moves at home.
"I hope they are okay. Who took the worst of it? Theory? [Definitely Theory] Yeah. As soon as he did it, it looked a little off from the beginning, and it was. I just hope nobody gets hurt. Hey, kids, don't try this at home, okay?" [34:40 -36:00]
WWE even issued an update on the conditions of Theory and Hayes, stating that there was nothing serious and the stars only suffered face contusions.
