Jesse Ventura opened up about his return to WWE
Appearing on the SummerSlam 2024 vlog, Jesse Ventura opened up about his return to WWE.
The Body reflected on signing a deal with the Stamford-based company at the age of 73, stating that he wanted to finish off his career while being involved with the professional wrestling industry. He said:
"Hell has frozen over. I'm back in the WWE as a legend. I've gone through negotiation. We've reached an agreement. I feel very good about it. I'm 73 years old now, and my life has now gone full circle. I got my first fame and fortune in the wrestling industry. I went on to do many many other things above and beyond wrestling and outside of wrestling. Now, maybe it's only right that I come back to wrestling in the twilight of my life and finish off what I always was - a pro wrestler."
Ventura was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2004. During his active years as a professional wrestler, Ventura won multiple championships across various promotions.
