WWE Hall of Famer JBL recently was called out by a star. According to the wrestler, the legend was seemingly trespassing into his territory which made him fire some unprovoked shots at him. Calling for action, John Bradshaw Layfield also responded to the star’s words.
Paul Walter Hauser is an actor who is also signed to Major League Wrestling (MLW). Recently, JBL has been making appearances on indie shows. He made appearances in MLW as well. This prompted Hauser to call the legend out via a video that was uploaded on X/Twitter by MLW’s official handle.
"I did not intend to see the return of a certain clotheslining cowboy who came back from the dead. Of course, I'm talking about Hall of Famer and legend, JBL. Now, he commands respect but he only commands it so far as he can give respect, and he came to the MLW family in a quite disrespectful manner. I know he's one of the boys, but he's not one of our boys in MLW." [0:46-1:10]
Following this, he sent a threat to the WWE Hall of Famer and stated that he would soon return to MLW.

"Let me give a fair warning: I am returning to MLW in Chicago, Illinois, this year. And when I do, if JBL sticks his nose or his clothesline into my business, I will knock his ancient a** to the ground. And when he wakes up, he'll think he's back in Connecticut, wearing contacts on his ears and a cowboy hat with his boss's a** on his breath. So steer clear, Timu Stan Hansen, or I'll put you in house arrest." [1:20-1:57]
Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Joe Lowry, JBL retorted to the shots fired at him. The WWE legend suggested that he was ready to clothesline Hauser just the way he had taken down several big shots in WWE. Mocking his background in acting, the Hall of Famer also asked Hauser to get a stunt double.
“He better have a stunt double show up because I get it, he's a great actor, but Hollywood fanboy? That doesn't translate to our business. And think about this: I've clotheslined The Big Show. I've clotheslined Kane, Undertaker, Dr. Death, Vader. If I clothesline him, the only thing he's gonna play as is a victim.” [1:31 - 1:55]
JBL also noted that needlessly calling him out was the biggest mistake the actor could ever make. It would be interesting to see how Hauser responds to the WWE legend hitting back on his words.
