Kevin Nash recently shared an update on Stephanie McMahon, who is the wife of WWE's Chief Content Officer Triple H. McMahon appeared on WWE television at SummerSlam, sitting at ringside at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Triple H commented on McMahon's status after SummerSlam, confirming that she doesn't have a role with the company. She continues to support him in the background as a WWE executive, as well as head of creative.
On the recent episode of the Kliq This podcast, Nash shared his short interaction with Stephanie backstage at SummerSlam. Big Daddy Cool was also invited to the event and was in awe of the 47-year-old mother of three's physique:
"I got a chance to see Stephanie, who looks amazing. She's been doing jiu-jitsu. She looks like she's ready to f**king get in the cage. She looks amazing and I saw the middle and the youngest daughter," Nash said. [47:39 - 47:52]
Stephanie McMahon stepped down from her role with WWE on January 10, 2023. She has made sporadic appearances since then, including at WrestleMania 40 and this year's SummerSlam.
On the other hand, Kevin Nash was one of many legends who were invited and appeared in the special suite shown during the premium live event's broadcast. Nash was joined by Sean Waltman, Diamond Dallas Page, Scott Steiner, and Rick Steiner among others.
Triple H on Stephanie McMahon's role in WWE
During the SummerSlam post-show press conference, Triple H was asked about Stephanie McMahon's status within WWE. Stephanie has been a huge part of the company for decades before stepping down last year.
With Endeavor's takeover and Vince McMahon's dismissal, there's no McMahon currently holding power in WWE. Triple H confirmed that his wife doesn't have a role with the company.
"She does not have an official role right now, but I can tell you this: She loves this, absolutely loves it. Sometimes it's harder to love it and sometimes it's easy to love it. It's easy to love it again for her. She's enjoying watching it. She's enjoying coming to the shows. She's enjoying seeing everybody in the back. She loves it," Triple H said. [H/T Fightful]
Stephanie started as an account executive with WWE in 1998, while also serving as an on-screen talent. She was part of the creative team from 2002 to 2013 when she was promoted to Chief Brand Officer. She became the Chairwoman of the company for a brief period during Vince McMahon's first retirement in 2022.
