When WWE announced the Queen of the Ring Tournament 2024, only a seldom few would have predicted Nia Jax to win the crown. But the win certainly was deserved. Jax has proved in recent months that she is the real deal.

The closing moments of the tournament final in Saudi Arabia saw her knockout Lyra Valkyria by countering the latter's attempt at hitting a powerbomb off the top rope. The Irresistible Force caught Lyra with a mid-air Annihilator. Valkryia barely moved after that. WWE producer and wrestler Shane Helms, also known as The Hurricane/Gregory Helms, was all praise for the finish to the bout.

Taking to Instagram, Shane commented on Nia's latest post, calling the finish of the Queen of the Ring Tournament final a show-stealer. He also expressed great joy at Jax's success.

"Show stealing finish!! I literally jumped outta my seat! Very proud of, and happy for you!!" wrote Helms.

As of this writing, The Irresistible Force clashes with Women's Champion Bayley at SummerSlam later this year. However, the Role Model's status for the show bears watching, as there are plenty of other WWE Superstars on the SmackDown roster who are gunning for her belt currently.

Nia Jax also has a target on her back ahead of WWE SummerSlam

It appears Bayley is not the only one looking to make it to The Biggest Party of the Summer in one piece. Nia Jax made some enemies en route to becoming the new Queen of the Ring.

She eliminated both members of the Women's Tag Team Champions, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, in individual one-on-one contests on SmackDown during the tournament. The Storm was disqualified in her match after using a chair on Jax.

The Irresistible Force had threatened Jade's daughter, who was at ringside that day. In fact, she was the one who picked up the chair during their bout, except Cargill snatched it and used it on Jax and got disqualified, helping the latter pick up the all-important win.

Nia even hurt Bianca Belair on the go-home edition of SmackDown this past Friday night. The Women's Tag Team Champions issued a warning ahead of the upcoming episode, with Jade specifically stating that Nia's days are numbered.
