A WWE legend has praised The Bloodline for its longevity and ability to tell captivating stories. There have been a lot of great stables in pro wrestling history, but Lex Luger believes that the entire Bloodline may end up as the greatest ever.

Roman Reigns formed the original Bloodline with Paul Heyman and gradually added The Usos. They then welcomed Sami Zayn to the faction as an honorary member before the introduction of Solo Sikoa. After WrestleMania 40, Sikoa formed his own Bloodline with Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.

In an appearance on Busted Open, Lex Luger compared The Bloodline to The Four Horsemen due to its longevity and possible reiterations. Luger was not part of the original lineup of the Horsemen but became a member in 1987.

"I think we had longevity. We're kinda one of the original factions that really, really got over. (...) Those guys, the way those island boys can work, the way they move, they have a fierceness and a fire that you can't train a guy to have. And with The Rock involved. (...) He's gonna at least go through [WrestleMania] next year. They're gonna go down as the greatest faction ever, in my opinion," Luger said. [H/T: Wrestling Inc.]

The Bloodline story continues with the return of Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. Reigns helped Cody Rhodes retain the Undisputed WWE Championship by taking out Solo Sikoa.

Roman Reigns to address The Bloodline on SmackDown?

As announced by WWE on X, formerly known as Twitter, Roman Reigns is back on WWE SmackDown on Friday. Reigns will be making his return to the blue brand to possibly address The Bloodline's situation after his four-month absence, wherein Solo Sikoa took leadership.

Sikoa also introduced a trio of new members: Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. The Original Tribal Chief will also likely react to the attack on Paul Heyman several weeks ago. Heyman has not been seen on WWE television since he was put through the announce table at Madison Square Garden.

Reigns had been absent since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 before his recent comeback. With the way he was cheered at SummerSlam, it appears he's turned face for the first time since early 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
