At Money in the Bank, John Cena made a surprise appearance to make an important announcement. The 47-year-old announced that he would be retiring from WWE next year, with his last appearance at The Show of Shows coming at WrestleMania 41.

This post caught R-Truth's attention, who has called the 16-time World Champion his 'childhood hero' several times.
