WWE legend recounts "huge Frankenstein scar" incident involving The Undertaker

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker's career featured plenty of memorable moments and matches. One of the names The Deadman himself loved to work with was John "Bradshaw" Layfield, who was among the rare opponents that came out on the winning end of the spectrum against The Phenom.

The 57-year-old Wrestling God now looks back at a backstage incident involving The Undertaker. Both of them are known to be close friends off-screen. This camaraderie is evident in the story JBL recounted on social media recently.

Taking to X/Twitter, the former WWE Champion revealed that The Deadman narrating a hilarious story while he was getting stitched made his doctor mess up the process. Crediting the latter for his work usually and considering him even a friend, JBL added that this particular stitch job was the worst he had. It led to an ugly scar which was visible in his later on-screen appearances. He calls it the "Frankenstein scar" thanks to The Undertaker.

"The stitches in my head, I was getting sewn up in the dressing room after and Undertaker was there and he was telling a hilarious story, everyone was listening and laughing-including the Doctor sewing me up! He was a great Doc and a great friend, but he wasn’t even looking at me as he was sewing me up cause of this story. Worst stitch job ever. Now I have this huge Frankenstein scar."

The two feuded over JBL's WWE Championship in the summer of 2004. The Undertaker ultimately failed to dethrone The Wrestling God. Recently, The Phenom named Bradshaw as one of his most underrated rivals during an interview with Chris Van Vliet.

JBL credits Eddie Guerrero and family for putting him on the map in the eyes of WWE fans

The most significant moment in JBL's career was when he brought Eddie Guerrero's first WWE Championship reign to a screeching halt after 132 days.

The feud is infamous for Eddie's blood bath that occurred during their one-on-one title match at Judgment Day 2004. Eddie wound up retaining the belt, only to drop it the next month to JBL in a Texas Bullrope Match.

Bradshaw recently credited the late legend "100%" for the success of his career. He also recounted mob outrage during a live event filled with Latinos where they planned a notorious angle involving Eddie's mother. He added that this moment put him on the map.

Eddie Guerrero revisited his rivalry with JBL later that year, with The Undertaker and Booker T challenging for the WWE Championship at Armageddon in December. The Wrestling God prevailed and remained champion for 280 days, one of the lengthiest title runs at the time.
