WWE legend responds to fans' reactions to Artem Chigvintsev's arrest and his relationship with Nikki Bella: "Are you friends with her?"

Former WWE Divas Champion and Hall of Famer Nikki Bella (aka Nikki Garcia) has been in the headlines for the past few days, and not for the best of reasons. Last month, it was reported that her husband, Artem Chigvintsev, had been arrested from their Napa Valley residence on charges of alleged domestic violence. On August 29, the professional dancer was arrested by Napa Valley County. However, he was released the same day on a $25,000 bond.

Fans have been continuously sharing their thoughts on Nikki and Artem’s relationship and his arrest. The couple's personal life is being discussed openly despite them asking for privacy. Former ECW diva Francine recently shared her thoughts on fans reacting to Garcia’s personal life and current case.

While speaking on the latest episode of her Eyes Up Here podcast, the ECW legend appeared upset and slammed fans who form opinions without even knowing someone personally.

"I’m sorry for these remarks; you don’t know Nikki as a person. Do you know her? Are you friends with her? I mean, the fans think they know you because they watch you on television. They don’t know you. My friend, this. My friend that. No. I hate to say this, but you’re not friends with these people."

Former ECW star added:

"You know them because you watch them on a program, and maybe somebody tweeted at you and said, 'Thanks for the support..." That doesn’t make you best friends with someone. That doesn’t make you friends. That makes you a fan of them. You are a supporter of these people. You are a fan. I sound like a b*tch right now, but people can’t draw the line. Nikki Bella met Artem Chigvintsev in 2017 on the 25th season of Dancing With The Stars when they were paired to perform together. In 2019, she openly said she was dating the dancer. They got engaged in 2020 and welcomed their son, Matteo, on July 31, 2020.
