Drew McIntyre is one of the favorites to win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. However, former WWE Superstar Matt Morgan thinks a legend should return to cost The Scottish Warrior his opportunity.
The legend in question is CM Punk. The six-time World Champion has been feuding with Drew McIntyre for several months. Punk cost McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. He later cost The Scottish Warrior another opportunity to recapture the title in his home country of Scotland at Clash at the Castle.
The 38-year-old retaliated by destroying Punk on SmackDown in the latter's hometown of Chicago on June 21st. Punk has since been absent from WWE TV.
On the Gigantic Pop podcast, wrestling veteran Matt Morgan suggested a new chapter of their rivalry should be written at Money in the Bank by having Punk return to interfere in the Ladder Match and cost McIntyre as the latter is about to capture the briefcase:

"What they should do is have Punk s*rew Drew one more time as he's about to get the briefcase. This will be hilarious," he said. [From 19:04 to 19:11]

Drew McIntyre vowed to cash in at WWE Money in the Bank
Drew McIntyre has fallen victim to Money in the Bank cash-ins twice in his career. The Scottish Warrior could now be the one to cash in the contract if he wins at Money in the Bank tonight.
At the WWE Money in the Bank Kickoff show, the former World Heavyweight Champion vowed to win the briefcase and cash it in later in the same night to recapture the title. Damian Priest and Seth Rollins are set to fight for the World Heavyweight Champions in the main event of tonight's premium live event.
Former WWE host Matt Camp has previously suggested that McIntyre could win the Money in the Bank briefcase before CM Punk interferes to cost him his cash in. It would be interesting to see if that scenario would happen.
