WWE legend reveals private conversation he had with Triple H during RAW

A WWE legend recently revealed a private conversation he had with Triple H backstage at RAW. These two men have a lot of history together.

Sean Waltman, aka X-Pac, is one of Triple H's closest friends. The two of them share quite a history between them due to their time together as part of The Kliq and D-X. Both men have come a long way since then. Triple H runs the creative team in WWE while Sean Waltman is currently signed to the Stamford-based promotion under a Legends contract. As a result, these two men cross paths from time to time.

During a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed, Sean Waltman revealed that he told Triple H backstage on RAW that the latter deserved all this success.

“I’ll share something I haven’t told anyone else,” said Waltman. “When we were at RAW, I said to him, ‘You deserve all this. And the fans deserve you.’ The fans dealt with a lot of bull**it over the years. It was hard to be a fan for a while, and I don’t f***ing mind saying it. It’s different now. He’s here for the fans. There is so much happiness and excitement surrounding WWE. This is what I always envisioned for him. It’s amazing.” [H/T - Undisputed]

Sean Waltman on his treatment during WWE RAW

Last week saw the premiere of RAW on Netflix. Given the big occasion, several WWE legends made a surprise return to the show. Legends like Hulk Hogan, Jimmy Hart, and even The Undertaker showed up on the red brand. There were also so many legends present backstage and among the audience during the show. One of those was Sean Waltman.

During the same interview, Sean Waltman recalled his treatment from RAW this week and compared it to how the legends were treated back in the day.

“We get treated so well,” said Waltman. “That wasn’t always the way it was. There’s been times over the years I’ve seen older wrestlers so disappointed that they weren’t even acknowledged. It’s a big deal to us. This was our life. So it means the world to be treated the way we’re treated." [H/T - Undisputed]
