WWE legend Rey Mysterio's daughter and Dominik Mysterio's sister Aalyah provides major update on 'the family'

WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio's daughter Aalyah recently took to social media to provide a wholesome update on her family. Dominik Mysterio might have been involved in it too.

Dominik started his career with World Wrestling Entertainment under his father's wing. Together the duo won the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship before the 27-year-old turned on Rey Mysterio and joined The Judgment Day. Since then, Dirty Dom is rarely spotted with any of his family members and has always been seen taking shots at them.

Aalyah recently took to her Instagram stories to upload a heartwarming photo, writing that "the family" got matching tattoos of their grandfather's signature.

"The family got matching tattoos of grandpas signature," she wrote.

Although Aalyah's story did not include Rey Mysterio or Dominik Mysterio, it seemingly indicates that the father-son duo might have gotten the same tattoos as the rest of the family.

Former WWE Superstar believes Dominik Mysterio never wanted to be like Rey Mysterio

During a Q&A with Sportskeeda Wrestling, former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio said that he believed Dominik Mysterio has been doing a fantastic job in the Stamford-based promotion.

Del Rio also mentioned that although fans compared Dom with Rey Mysterio at the beginning of the former's career, he never wanted to be like the LWO member.

"He's killing it. He's doing a fantastic job. It makes me so happy to see this story of success because I know we work for the fans, but sometimes the fans are a little bit unfair, and I remember fans destroying Dominik Mysterio years ago, just bashing him about stuff and comparing him with his dad. But he never wanted to be like his dad. Of course, he learned from the best, he learned from Rey Mysterio and many others, but he was just trying to find his character, his persona in the industry. He did it already and he's killing it."

Alberto Del Rio also stated that Dominik Mysterio could soon win a World Title in the Triple H-led promotion. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for the two-time North American Champion's future.
