WWE Superstar Roman Reigns suffered a heartbreaking loss with the passing of his father, Sika Anoa'i. The fellow Samoan wrestler and Anoa'i family member Rikishi took to social media and shared an emotional message for one-half of the iconic The Wild Samoans.
The elder Anoa'i left the world at the age of 79. Sika's influence extended beyond the squared circle as he belonged to a wrestling dynasty that produced numerous stars, the Anoa'i family.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Rikishi penned down a heartfelt message for his late uncle. The 58-year-old legend mentioned that Sika Anoa'i was his first mentor, adviser, and confidant. The Samoan star expressed his deep gratitude for what Roman's father has done for the industry.

"My Uncle Sika's roots began in Samoa, however, with his chosen profession and limitless talents, he touched the world! Yes, he was WILD and I could go on and on with stories, but for now, I simply want to express my deep gratitude 🙏🏽 for what I was able to experience with him. He will forever remain in my heart and mind."
WWE Hall of Famer shared a message after Sika Anoa'i passed away
The 16-time World Champion and two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair also paid homage to the late Sika Anoa'i. On social media, The Nature Boy mentioned that one-half of The Wild Samoan's legacy will be carried through the greatness of his son, Roman Reigns.
"I’m Saddened To Hear About The Loss Of Sika! Your Legacy Will Live On Through The Greatness Of Your Son Roman! Rest In Peace My Brother!" Flair wrote.
Sika last appeared at the WWE Hell in a Cell Premium Live Event in 2020 and even acknowledged The Tribal Chief after he defeated Jey Uso. Many stars and veterans have come forward to share condolences to the Anoa'i family upon the legend's demise.
