A WWE legend's son recently made a bold statement about his wrestling career in 2025. He also gave a shout-out to Jacob Fatu of the New Bloodline.
Zilla Fatu, the son of the legendary late Umaga, has been making waves on the independent circuit since his debut. The fourth-generation wrestler currently holds the HOG Crown Jewel Championship and ROW Championship.
The wrestling world thought that The Main One would team up with Roman Reigns' OG Bloodline for the Men's WarGames Match at the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames instead of CM Punk. However, that didn't happen.
On the latest edition of the Busted Open podcast, WWE legend Tommy Dreamer asked Zilla Fatu what fans could expect from the 25-year-old in 2025.
The real-life Bloodline member claimed his goal for next year is to separate his identity from being Umaga's son and alter the stereotype of Samoan wrestlers. Zilla Fatu wants to showcase his technical wrestling skills and believes that The Samoan Werewolf is already doing a great job in this regard in WWE.
"One of my challenges right now, Tommy [Dreamer], is trying to separate the Zilla Fatu away from Umaga's son. I think that's what I want to solidify next year: just trying to change the perspective on Samoan wrestlers. We're not just wild; I wanna be able to jump into the technical side of wrestling and show people that Samoans are more than just headbangers and headbutts. I think that's what Jacob's [Fatu] doing a great job," he said. [From 02:14 to 02:47]

Zilla Fatu comments on which side of the Bloodline he wants to be part of in WWE
Last weekend at the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, the OG Bloodline and CM Punk squared off with the New Bloodline and "Big" Bronson Reed inside the double-caged steel structure. It was Roman Reigns' team that emerged victorious over Solo Sikoa and Co. in a thrilling Men's WarGames Match.
During the same interaction on the Busted Open podcast, The Main One disclosed his allegiance to one of the groups. Zilla Fatu declared his support for Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn.
"That's the question of the year. I'm going to have to go with Team OTC, baby—Roman Reigns. Ever since Jacob [Fatu] got signed, he's been acting crazy; that's not the Jacob I know. Then you have Solo [Sikoa]; I've been beefing with him since I was eight years old. I gave him his first Rock Bottom in the pool at his dad's house. For him to try to take my dad's move or whatever, I don't like that. Whatever help the OTC Roman Reigns needs, I'll be there," he said.
The HOG Crown Jewel and ROW Champion also stated that he was in no rush to sign with WWE or other major promotions any time soon. Fans will have to wait and see if Zilla Fatu will be potentially involved in The Bloodline saga in the future.
