A WWE legend shared an emotional message following this week's episode of RAW and Rhea Ripley reacted. This past Monday's show was the first episode of WWE RAW on Netflix.

Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan to capture the Women's World Championship on RAW and Mick Foley took to Instagram today to send her a heartfelt message. The legend shared a throwback image of himself and Ripley, noting that he was incredibly happy for her.

Foley added that he knew she would be a star, but had no clue how popular she would become. The legend added that the two stars had a friendly beef on social media before the photo was taken.

"I saw big star potential in Rhea from the first time I saw her wrestle... but as I’ve said before, even I would not have predicted just how incredibly big she would become, and where the @wwe would be today. What’s funny about this pic is that we actually had a brief, good natured Twitter feud that led up to this photo being taken… But that’s a story for another time! I’m a #MansMan for life, but Mrs. Foley’s baby boy is also a #MamisBoy…", he wrote.

Former WWE writer discusses Rhea Ripley's opponent for WrestleMania 41

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently predicted that Rhea Ripley would face either Becky Lynch or Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, the veteran stated that Lynch or Flair would make the most sense as opponents for Rhea Ripley at The Show of Shows.

"I would have to think it’s gotta be Charlotte or Becky because those are the only two that are gonna mean anything. Bianca Belair, maybe? But she’s doing the thing with Naomi now. I would think that Charlotte and Becky are the only two that make sense," he said. [From 26:09 onwards]
