WWE's tour of the United Kingdom continued as superstars from RAW and SmackDown stopped over in Newcastle on October 15 for a live event. The show was filled with multiple title matches and headlined by a Steel Cage match between two major stars.
The night started with the Intercontinental Championship match in which Jey Uso defeated Bron Breakker. Title changes rarely occur at live events and the norm was followed in Newcastle as well. However, the two men will once again meet on RAW next week and there are high chances that Breakker could reclaim the gold then.
Next up, Andrade defeated Santos Escobar in one of the two non-title matches. The bout was followed by the WWE Women's Championship match in which Nia Jax defeated Bayley with a little assistance from Tiffany Stratton. The duo continued to attack the Role Model after the match, but Naomi came out to save her best friend. Naomi and Bayley then joined forces to put the champion through a table.
Elsewhere on the card, Gunther got a victory over Chad Gable to retain the World Heavyweight Championship while LA Knight successfully defended the United States Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura.
In the other non-title match of the night, Randy Orton joined forces with #DIY to defeat Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.
The night was great for the Bloodline leader, Solo Sikoa, as well. The rising star faced Cody Rhodes for his coveted title in a Steel Cage match. However, the American Nightmare once again managed to get the better of Sikoa.
