WWE kickstarted the tour of England with a live event in Birmingham on Wednesday, April 17. The show was stacked with multiple title matches and featured top stars from RAW and SmackDown in action.
The event kicked off with an Intercontinental Championship match, with Sami Zayn defending his title against Gunther, Finn Balor, and Chad Gable. This was also the Ring General's first outing to the squared circle since losing the title to Zayn at WrestleMania 40. He failed to regain the title at the house show, as Sami came out on top.
The show also featured a women's tag match as Natalya joined forces with Tegan Nox to defeat Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler. This was followed by a singles match between Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre, where the former Bloodline member emerged victorious. The Scottish Warrior was unhappy with the reception from the live crowd and told them he was leaving for the United States.

Elsewhere on the card, Damian Priest made his first title defense, defeating Kofi Kingston in one-on-one action. Ricochet also got a win over JD McDonagh while Becky Lynch defeated Piper Niven upon her return to in-ring action. The Man was reportedly slated to take time off after WrestleMania 40, but plans seemingly changed after an injury to Rhea Ripley.
The event was headlined by Cody Rhodes, who made his first title defense as the Undisputed WWE Champion. The American Nightmare faced Shinsuke Nakamura in the main event. Rhodes emerged victorious to conclude an action-packed evening.
