WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre returned on Monday Night RAW tonight after quitting the show last week. This was after he attacked CM Punk on Smackdown and left him covered in a pool of blood in front of his home crowd in Chicago.

McIntyre and Punk have been involved in a heated rivalry for the past few months. The stars have had several back-and-forth promo sessions with Punk costing McIntyre the world title at WrestleMania and also the title opportunity at Clash at the Castle.

While former WWE head writer Vince Russo was impressed with The Scottish Warrior's attack, he argued that the follow-up with the bracelet on RAW was "corny." McIntyre took that bracelet from Punk on SmackDown after slamming it onto the floor.

He used the bracelet to mock CM Punk on RAW tonight, stating that he now has the latter's family. The Scottish Warrior argued that the Best in the World is alone and he put him there. Vince Russo reviewed the segment on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW where he was not pleased with the segment.

"Well, that was awesome what he did, what they had him do to CM Punk in Chicago. That was awesome, that was a good piece of business. But bro, the bracelet is a little corny for me. 'I took his bracelet!' He is going to be upset because of a kid... There are still some things that reek wrestling. That reeks wrestling." [34:08 - 34:33]

Vince Russo further argued that WWE often takes it upon themselves to explain the nuances that should be left for fans to understand by themselves if they pay attention to the shows.

Drew McIntyre booked for a huge Money in the Bank qualifier on WWE RAW

Drew McIntyre demanded RAW General Manager Adam Pearce put him in the Money in the Bank qualifier match next week, which the latter initially declined. Pearce argued that McIntyre had done nothing to deserve the spot in the six-man Ladder Match but the Scottish Warrior threatened savage destruction on the red brand.

Next week on WWE RAW, Drew McIntyre will lock horns against Sheamus and Ilja Dragunov in a Triple Threat bout for the final spot in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

The former world champion is determined to get his hands on the briefcase that cost his two title reigns.
