WWE make major Roman Reigns change following his return to SmackDown

Roman Reigns returned on SmackDown
Roman Reigns is the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion

Roman Reigns made his return to WWE SmackDown this week after more than six weeks on the sidelines, and was on hand to confront John Cena to kick off the season premier.

The WWE Universe noticed straight away that Reigns was only holding one Championship, after initially carrying three to the ring before his hiatus. There was a rumor that one of the championships would be retired, following Bray Wyatt's passing. The Universal Championship, with the prominent blue color, was most recognizable with Bray, since he unveiled it.

Fans have now speculated that this is what could have happened, since this is the first time that Reigns has been seen since Wyatt's passing on August 24th.

Reigns made his way out to talk about the recent issues between The Bloodline and John Cena, before he was interrupted by LA Knight, who clearly wants the title shot in Saudi Arabia.

Jimmy Uso attacked before anything was made official, but it appears that Knight could be coming for his championship when the company presents Crown Jewel at the beginning of next month.

Do you think Roman Reigns is better with just one title? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
