WWE recently announced its new initiative for recruiting new talent to the Stamford-based promotion - the ID program. They have been making some announcements regarding this program and have just made another one.
WWE has been actively focused on developing younger talent to become superstars of tomorrow. A couple of years ago, the company launched the NIL program to provide college athletes with an easier pathway to the company.
Recently, the Stamford-based company took this a step further by announcing its ID program to assist independent wrestlers and wrestling schools. For the past few weeks, the company has quickly ID'd some rising prospects in the independent scene to be added to the program.
WWE ID's official Twitter page recently announced that Gal from Elite Pro Wrestling Training Center was the latest to be ID'd by the company. Gal made his in-ring debut in 2020 and has been hailed as one of the rising stars in the industry by some fans. The company posted a video clip of the moment he got the news from his trainer.

Booker T comments on ROW being part of the WWE ID program
When WWE announced its ID program, it also announced the first set of wrestling schools to get the ID designation which included Booker T's Reality of Wrestling, Cody Rhodes' Nightmare Factory, Seth Rollins' Black and Brave Academy, Elite Pro Wrestling Training Center, and KnokX Pro Academy.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker spoke about what it meant to be part of the Stamford-based promotion's development program. He addressed the effort that went in to make this a possibility and seemed excited at the thought of shaping the next generation of wrestlers.
"Many, many years we've been working on becoming a developmental program for WWE and never knew if it was ever gonna happen or not, but we just kept grinding, man. We just kept working, no matter what, day in and day out, we came in with that vision that perhaps, you know, and if not, we just going to keep trying to create the best we possibly can create and now, 20 years, man, 20 years. That's why, for me, it's real. It's surreal as it possibly can be. I'm serious now in a position where we can really, really help the next generation of young guys trying to get into this business as well as create a monster, man and that is Reality of Wrestling."
