WWE signed a historic broadcast deal with global streaming giant Netflix earlier this year. The January 6, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW will be the wrestling promotion's first-ever show to air on the platform.

The Stamford-based company's Monday night show will become a Netflix exclusive worldwide. However, the other weekly shows will move to the streaming giant only outside North America. The promotion has television deals for SmackDown and NXT with USA Network and CW Network, respectively.

With the impending move to Netflix, the global juggernaut plans to close down the WWE Network. The Stamford-based promotion recently reached out to subscribers in The UK via e-mail to inform them that the network will be unavailable from January 1, 2025.

In what appears to be a generous gesture by the Stamford-based company, the WWE Network will be free for the final month of its run, i.e. December 2024.

In addition to top performers from the red brand, including CM Punk, Gunther, and Liv Morgan, SmackDown Superstars Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes have also been confirmed for the premiere. One-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions, Bianca Belair, is another noticeable name set to be a part of the historic debut.

WWE's head of creative, Triple H, also announced that famous American rapper Travis Scott will perform at the show. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the red brand as it gears up to move away from the television network.
