WWE makes a major announcement regarding Liv Morgan's future as Women's World Champion

WWE made an announcement on RAW this week regarding Liv Morgan's next challenger for the Women's World Championship. It was revealed during the show that she will defend the title against Zelina Vega.

The two stars have been involved in an angle for several weeks now. Morgan confronted the LWO member last week during her triple threat match with Kiana James and IYO SKY. Her presence distracted Vega, and The Genius of the Sky eventually won the match.

Liv Morgan and Zelina traded blows during Dragon Lee's match against Carlito later that night. The Women's World Champion appeared at ringside again during the bout, and Zelina Vega attacked her. The Judgment Day member won the match.

On RAW this week, Liv Morgan was involved in an in-ring segment. She called out Dominik Mysterio, but Zelina Vega showed up instead. The latter accused her of neglecting the Women's World Championship, as she was too busy chasing after Rhea Ripley's leftovers.

Zelina then challenged Liv to put the title on the line against her during the show. However, Morgan refused. It was later announced that the match would take place next week. The two stars will collide for the coveted Women's World Championship.
