While The Wyatt Sicks has received significant appreciation from WWE fans and critics, a veteran believes that the creative department is facing challenges in its booking. Vince Russo believes the faction's storyline is progressing at a slow pace.
The Wyatt Sicks notably follows the creepy style used by The Wyatt Family, which does not come as a surprise. However, it should be noted that even The Wyatt Family struggled to get over at times, something that Russo believes has made the creative department apprehensive about taking bold steps in the Uncle Howdy-led group's booking.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, the former head writer of the global juggernaut said the following about The Wyatt Sicks' booking:
"I feel we are playing this defensively because we are so afraid of making mistakes and scre*ing this up. And that's why this is going at a snail's pace. Rather than move this along, I really believe that they are trying their best for this not to fail. And I think man if you are writing that way off the bat? Man, I think that is only going to present trouble for you down the line." [3:42 onwards]

Bill Apter also criticized WWE's The Wyatt Sicks
Hall of Fame journalist Bill Apter recently discussed the success of The Undertaker's supernatural gimmick. He also compared The Wyatt Sicks and The Phenom's booking in WWE.
On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, hosted by Mac Davis, Bill Apter explained why The Undertaker was a success but The Wyatt Sicks was far behind the Hall of Famer in WWE.
"Undertaker was one person. One character. So this is built around one character. The Wyatt Sicks are The Wyatt Sicks. It seems that the situations that they are getting put into in the middle of shows or at the end of the shows just don't leave a great taste in my mouth because it's too shticky. I found The Undertaker more believable (...) If they did this once a year as a tribute to Bray Wyatt, I think it's gonna be great." [3:10 onwards]
The Wyatt Sicks is currently embroiled in a feud with Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers. It will be interesting to see what's next in the compelling storyline.
