A longtime wrestling personality thought that WWE might have made a mistake at Bash in Berlin regarding the mixed tag team match. Jim Cornette remarked that he would have preferred Rhea Ripley to have a bigger moment by going after Dominik Mysterio at the end rather than Liv Morgan.
At WWE's first-ever premium live event in Germany, Ripley teamed up with Damian Priest to defeat Mysterio and Morgan. The Eradicator got the victory for her team after hitting the Riptide on the Women's World Champion for the pinfall.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Jim Cornette Experience, the former WWE manager discussed Bash in Berlin. Cornette liked the outcome of the mixed tag team match although he preferred Ripley pinning Mysterio instead of Morgan.
"I didn't know that they would beat Liv. I kind of wish that they had Rhea beat Dominik and let the referee count it anyway. That would have been a little f**king extra out for the heels. But Rhea needed to win this because she's the biggest babyface star and I don't know that it hurts Dominik and Liv to lose because they're just such annoying heels in that vein. They don't need to be dominant in the win-loss category," Cornette said. [37:11 - 37:47]

While The Terror Twins got the victory at Bash in Berlin, the story between them and their former Judgment Day stablemates is far from over. Damian Priest has not gotten his hands on Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley wants to get back the Women's World Championship.
Jim Cornette explains the finish of Strap Match at WWE Bash in Berlin
In the same episode of The Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette discussed the finish of the Strap Match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. Some fans were baffled why the turnbuckle lights didn't reset when Punk hit McIntyre with multiple Go To Sleeps.
"Punk pulled him into a GTS and then Punk started to go to a buckle but saw the godd**n bracelet and said, 'F*ck it,' and picked him up and gave him another one. Then he got two turnbuckles, and then went back and gave him another Go To Sleep, and then the third buckle and another Go To Sleep, and then took his bracelet off and went back and touched the fourth turnbuckle with the bracelet. That's why the count did not stop in between those because it was the guy in charge doing the offensive blows to his opponent, rather than the guy that's down, stopping him. I thought it was great," Cornette said. [21:07 - 21:51]
Despite Punk claiming that he's moving forward from McIntyre, The Scottish Warrior attacked his rival last Monday on WWE RAW. It seems like they would be having a grudge match in an upcoming premium live event given that Punk and McIntyre have one win each.
