Former WWE Superstar Tommy Dreamer recently stated that the Stamford-based company might be forced to turn one of RAW's top heels into a babyface for the first time. Dreamer cautioned Triple H and the creative team to book Bronson Reed as a monster heel or the crowd will just start cheering for him.
Reed made his main roster debut in December 2022 when he helped The Miz beat Dexter Lumis in an episode of RAW. He has been working as a bad guy since then and has not been a face since his time in the developmental brand. He was one of NXT's top babyfaces from 2019 to 2021 before getting released and working in the independent circuit.
Speaking on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Tommy Dreamer claimed that WWE is taking a big risk with Bronson Reed's current booking. Dreamer suggested making him look like a monster heel while warning the company to be careful since he might get cheered.
"They have to position him as the heel all times because if not, he's gonna turn babyface and where does that fit him?" Dreamer said. [H/T Wrestling, Inc]
Bronson Reed recently faced Seth Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel in a losing effort. But despite the defeat, Reed looked strong and even got back up quickly after Rollins pinned him following a Curb Stomp from the top rope.
Bronson Reed names top WWE Superstar as one of the hardest hitters he has faced
"Big" Bronson Reed is considered one of the strongest superstars on the WWE roster today. Reed was recently asked by Fightful who was the hardest-hitting star he has ever faced.
"I mean, I've had some hard hits. I'll give you two. One is obviously Gunther. His chops are the hardest chops I've ever taken. I remember distinctively the first time wrestling him in Germany, and we were in a tiny little warehouse. It was like their dojo where they trained, and I remember getting chopped, and just how loud it was shocked me more than the actual feeling of the chop. ... That, and I'll have to say KENTA (Hideo Itami). He used to kick very hard back in the Japanese. … When I first wrestled in Pro Wrestling NOAH. Every time he kicked me, he gave me a Go To Sleep that sent me for a loop. I’d say Gunther or KENTA are the hardest hitters, and they’ve hit me pretty hard," Reed said. [H/T: Fightful]

Bronson Reed once challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship on the October 16th episode of RAW last year. He faced KENTA, formerly known as Hideo Itami in WWE, early in his career in Pro Wrestling Noah, way before they got signed to NXT.
