WWE NXT Results: Former champion makes a surprise return after 7 months

This week's episode of WWE NXT was headlined by the Women's North American Championship match between Tatum Paxley and Fallon Henley. Gigi Dolin made a surprise return during the show and was involved in a brawl.

During the bout, Paxley planted the champion with a double-underhook suplex but she was taken out with a swinging kick on the floor after being confronted by Jacy Jayne. Fallon Henley hit the challenger with a kick to the midsection, and the two stars took each other out with a headbutt and a double crossbody.

They exchanged strikes and the Fatal Influence member hit another kick to the midsection. Paxley rocked her opponent with a step-up enzuigiri and hit her with a crossbody in the corner. She tried to perform a move off the top rope but Jacy Jayne provided a distraction.

Fallon Henley hit a suplex and got a two-count. Tatum pushed her opponent off the top rope and successfully hit a 450 splash, which got a two-count. Jacy tried to interfere again but she got wiped out. However, Fallon Henley performed her finishing move and won the match to retain her WWE NXT Women's North American Championship.

Fatal Influence jumped Tatum Paxley after the match, but former tag team champion Gigi Dolin made a surprise return to WWE NXT after seven months and saved the latter from the attack.
