The Rock has not lost a match since his defeat to John Cena at WrestleMania 29. However, former TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace thinks that NXT star Ethan Page can beat The Final Boss due to a hilarious reason.
After making an appearance on RAW's debut on Netflix, The Great One arrived at NXT: New Year's Evil last night to greet the future of WWE. He interacted with several stars, including his daughter and NXT General Manager Ava, as well as former NXT champion Ethan Page.
Things got heated between Ava and Page before The Rock cooled it off and seemingly gave the former AEW star the ultimate rub. The People's Champion told Page that he will see All Ego on the main roster, so a call-up might be on the cards for the 35-year-old.
Former TNA Knockouts World Champion and soon-to-be free agent Jordynne Grace watched the segment and had a hilarious realization. The Juggernaut joked on X that Page will defeat The Great One every time because a "page" is made of "paper," and it always beats "rock."
Will John Cena beat Ric Flair's record? A former WCW Champion thinks so HERE
"Page… page of a book… is made of paper Paper… beats rock?" Grace wrote.
Since WrestleMania 20, The Rock has only wrestled seven times and has a record of 6-1. It's unclear whether the Hollywood star will lace up his wrestling boots again, given his age and movie career.
As for Ethan Page, he has his hands full, as Je'Von Evans and Cedric Alexander are out for revenge after suffering a broken jaw and broken fingers, respectively, at the hands of All Ego.
What did The Rock say on NXT?
At NXT: New Year's Evil, The Great One came out to address the crowd inside the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California. The Final Boss must have heard all the chatter online about him putting Cody Rhodes over and turning babyface in the process on RAW.
The megastar went off on all the critics, pointing out that their comments led to the creation of The Final Boss, who is always ''20 steps ahead'' of everyone.
"The Rock is the Final Boss thinking 20 steps ahead, so the best thing for them to do is to know their role, shut their mouths, and enjoy the ride that The Rock is taking them on," he said.
According to the latest reports, The People's Champion is expected to do reshoots for Moana and will likely miss WrestleMania 41.
