WWE official and RAW general manager Adam Pearce has made some important announcements for this week's episode of RAW. The show will emanate from Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
This week's episode of RAW will be an important pit stop on the road to SummerSlam 2024. It will be the go-home edition of the red show before the premium live event on Saturday in Cleveland.
In a recent video uploaded to WWE's X/Twitter handle, Adam Pearce posted some important updates. He announced that this week, Sheamus will face Pete Dunne in a Battle of Bruiserweights. He also announced a major tag team match pitting The Creed Brothers against former Alpha Academy members Akira Tozawa and Otis. He also booked a singles match between Finn Balor and the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Gunther.

Pearce also reminded fans that Seth Rollins will be laying down the refereeing instructions for both CM Punk and Drew McIntyre for their SummerSlam showdown. He also informed viewers that this week's RAW would be broadcast on the SyFy channel since the USA Network was covering the Olympics.
Adam Pearce garnered praise for his performances on WWE RAW
This past week, former WWE manager and wrestling legend Jim Cornette praised Adam Pearce for delivering some amazing segments on RAW.
Cornette pointed out how Pearce, despite not being a superstar, was not being overshadowed by major talents such as CM Punk and Drew McIntyre.
"Pearce is doing a tremendous job because you can tell they're letting him be more of a personality and more of himself rather than the dry guy that was making a match or standing in the ring for a contract signing two years ago. Now he's firing up because he can cut promos. He was a wrestler that many of these audiences may not know," Cornette said.
The veteran loved that WWE was allowing the general manager to show some character rather than being a silent executive during contract signing segments.
