WWE has officially announced that a major debut will happen on SmackDown next week on October 18. After two episodes featuring a big tease, the "Next Week" text indicated that it's finally happening.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis mentioned not once, but twice that there will be a debuting team on the blue brand next week. They are possibly set to take on Legado Del Fantasma's Humberto and Angel Garza, with the two cousins likely to earn a tag team title shot if they win. On the second occasion, it was in between a verbal interaction featuring DIY and The Street Profits that Nick Aldis took the opportunity to once again confirm the debut.

Based on the vignette from last week as well as one this week, it was officially announced by WWE on SmackDown that there will be a debut next week. It's almost certainly going to be that of The Motor City Machine Guns:

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have decades worth of experience in the wrestling business with the stars winning multiple singles and tag team titles around the world. It looks like this move is set to inject new life into the blue brand's tag team division.

Things are going to get a lot hotter in the tag team division very soon.
