Rumors of WWE intending to unveil another belt have been making the rounds lately. Hall of Famer Teddy Long believes there is only one reason that the company could decide to pull off something like this.
The feud between Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns is seemingly at its peak. The two stars are also scheduled to face each other at RAW's premier episode on Netflix, a booking that is undoubtedly planned to get the show off to a good start. Roman and Solo are fighting to establish themselves as the true tribal chief, which could mean a Tribal Chief belt on the plans.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Teddy Long was asked to share his thoughts on the possibility of the Tribal Chief Belt being introduced. He stated:
"Well, I just think it's a good marketing scheme. That's exactly what I think it is. And I'll tell you that build is gonna be so beautiful, they are gonna sell so many of them it's gonna be unbelievable... It's something that nobody has ever seen before, Long said." [5:05 onwards]

A veteran thinks Roman Reigns will become a champion again in WWE soon
Roman's reign as the Universal champion was special, considering it broke records with its duration. According to Bill Apter, the company may have him hold the belt again soon.
Speaking on Live Q&A on Backstage Pass, Apter talked about how he expected Roman to be a WWE champion again soon. He stated:
"Yeah, I think he will. I think he will. I don't think he's done with the title situation. I definitely think we'll see him with the belt again, a major belt. Can't tell you when, right? But I think it will happen. Fans want him back in that position."
As of now, it remains to be seen if Apter's prediction will come true in WWE.
