Roman Reigns' father, Sika Anoa'i, passed away on June 25, 2024. WWE paid tribute to him during SmackDown tonight.

Sika belonged to the famous Anoa'i wrestling dynasty that produced several legendary wrestlers over the years. Stars like The Rock, Rikishi, Roman Reigns, and The Usos belong to this family.

Sika made a name for himself as a tag team wrestler along with Afa. Together, they were known as The Wild Samoans, and their in-ring dominance put fear in their opponents. After retirement, they were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007. His last WWE appearance came at Hell in a Cell 2020 to acknowledge his son Reigns.

The WWE Hall of Famer passed away earlier this week. Considering his impact on this business, tributes and messages have been pouring in on social media.

Tonight, WWE paid tribute to Sika with a video package during SmackDown. Several real-life bloodline members, including Rikishi, The Rock, Roman Reigns, and The Uso, were featured in the clip. When the tribute was over, fans at Madison Square Garden started chanting for Sika.

This was a nice way for WWE to pay tribute to one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time.
