Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently spoke about The Rock possibly figuring in the plans for Survivor Series. The star has not wrestled since Night One of WrestleMania XL.

The Final Boss made a special appearance at Bad Blood after Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeated The Bloodline. Although he did not say anything, the veteran star stared down Cody and Roman and then walked off.

This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo wondered if WWE was planning a surprise appearance for The Brahma Bull. He felt the babyfaces would include Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, and The Usos. The veteran writer detailed that there was no one better than The Final Boss to side with Solo and make The Bloodline even more formidable.

It should be noted that the discussion was pertaining to a Bloodline Wargames match at Survivor Series, where The Rock could make his in-ring return.

"Are we saying that The Rock is the fifth guy on the other side? From what I understand, it looks like it's gonna be Jey, Jimmy, Roman, Cody and Sami. So they need one on the other side. And who possibly is gonna be more popular than The Rock to be the fifth guy?" [From 13:00 onwards]

After this week's RAW, WWE announced that Roman Reigns and The Usos would team up against The Bloodline in a six-man tag team match at Crown Jewel.

It will be interesting to see how this storyline will develop as we continue on the road to Survivor Series.
