Former WWE head writer Vince Russo has shared his thoughts on Bronson Reed squaring off against Braun Stowman. The two men went all out this week in a Last Monster Standing Match on RAW.
The contest was filled with dangerous spots as the two stars hit each other with any foreign object they could find. The ring too could not withstand the two giants and collapsed during the battle. Finally, Seth Rollins returned to hit a Stomp on Bronson Reed, allowing Strowman to pick up the win.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo claimed WWE doing a ring collapse spot was predictable. He pointed out that at the start of the match, the ring posts were different, and keen observers could tell from a mile away that the creative team had planned the sequence as a payoff for the battle between the two behemoths.
"Did you not see that ring collapse coming 18,000 miles away? First of all, the ring posts are completely different, bare, generic. I saw that coming a mile away." [From 2:27 onwards]
Seth Rollins made a statement this week as he returned to attack Bronson Reed and eventually cost him the match. It will be interesting to see how this rivalry heats up in the next couple of weeks on the red brand.
