Former WWE head writer Vince Russo spoke about Monday Night RAW returning to its two-hour format. The announcement was made on the latest edition of RAW.
This week, WWE announced that starting October 7, their weekly programming, Monday Night RAW, would be two hours long. This format will continue until the end of the year. This will be the first time since 2012 that the flagship show will only air for a couple of hours.
This week on Legion of RAW, Vince Russo said that he felt this was a permanent change, and the company was prepping itself for the move to Netflix. He was unsure whether the show would revert to its three-hour format next year.
"I think it's gonna be permanent. I'm telling you. I don't think they'd go from three to two and back to three. I think they haven't formatted a two-hour show in a long time. I think they want to get that back down to a formula. That's why they are doing it three months ahead of time. I'm gonna tell you, I could be totally wrong. I got no inside information or nothing. But I can't believe they are gonna go back to three hours on Netflix." [From 15:10 onwards]
