WWE RAW is set to premiere on Netflix on January 6, 2025. Ahead of this historic event, WWE Director of Character Development Rob Fee made a significant statement about the flagship show's transition to the streaming giant.

Major matches confirmed for the red brand's first Netflix episode include CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa for the Ula Fala in a Tribal Combat Match, and Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship.

During an appearance on the Dead Meat podcast, Rob Fee encouraged fans to attend the debut of Monday Night RAW on the streaming platform, describing the event as "WrestleMania-adjacent." The writer vehemently urged fans to prioritize this particular show.

"You guys should definitely try to go to that show. It's gonna be WrestleMania-adjacent. You have to go. If there's one show to go to, it's this one," Fee said. [From 56:01 to 56:21]

Rob Fee shares the reason why police did not get involved after a major WWE Superstar was kidnapped

In October 2024, The Miz was abducted by the Wyatt Sicks on Monday Night RAW. Dexter Lumis, a member of the eerie faction, was responsible for kidnapping The Awesome One.

Later, in a vignette that aired on the red brand, Uncle Howdy threatened the eight-time Intercontinental Champion. The Miz was subsequently released, and he later teamed up with The Final Testament to defeat the Wyatt Sicks in an eight-man tag team match on the December 9 edition of WWE RAW.

Many wondered why authorities or police officials were not contacted after The A-Lister was held hostage by the Uncle Howdy-led faction. During the same interview on the Dead Meat podcast, Rob Fee revealed the reason behind this.

"When [The] Miz got kidnapped by these guys [Wyatt Sicks], they let him go. He, you know, talked his way out of it, and that's why the police wasn't called. Otherwise, the authorities would have gotten involved. I mean, we try to make sure everything has an explanation and is grounded," he said.

It remains to be seen if The Final Testament and the Wyatt Sicks will have a showdown on the debut edition of RAW on Netflix.
