WWE Saturday Night's Main Event 2024 was quite an entertaining affair. However, it still annoyed a veteran for a specific reason.

The long-awaited event had an interesting card, capped off by a showdown between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes. The show also featured names like Gunther, Damian Priest, Liv Morgan, and others. Despite the quality of the matches being expectedly high, the viewing experience was apparently marred for Bill Apter due to the abundance of advertisements and commercials.

On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, hosted by Mac Davis, the Hall of Fame journalist said:

"Couple of things that bothered me. The main one which I kept pinging you on Facebook Messenger was the commercials. They have to have them, they were driving me crazy. There are too many commercials. In the main event with Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, there was a Target commercial that was about four minutes into the match, when the match was just getting hot (...) It was really annoying to me." [2:37 onwards]

Bill Apter had another issue with WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

Besides the frequency of commercials, Bill Apter also had a complaint regarding a particular segment of the WWE show.

On Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted, the Hall of Fame journalist drew attention to the fact that the highly acclaimed spot between Kevin Owens and an angry Triple H happened after the show went off the air. According to Apter, the angle should have been featured on the main show.

"They said they got something like millions of viewers on social media for that. But here I am now, I am on NBC, wanting to give my people the best bite I could give them, right? The best bite for the buck here, and the hottest part about that show is not on NBC!" [5:39 onwards]

As of now, the fallout from the show is still unraveling, and WWE fans will have to see what is in store for them down the line.
